what kind of card/board games would you all like to see this year?
maybe some more paper and pencil games like D&D? or more card gaming tourny's like pokemon and magic?

If D&D needs a Cleric in the service of Pelor who's eccentric and slightly mad, i'll see what i ish doing. XD
it would be awesome to Play DnD at Colossal Con as long as it doesn't interrupt with some great late night panels and if we actually play unlike Ohayocon where we gen'd characters and then nothing
a Magic draft Tournament would be awesome and I'm sad that i didn't have the funds to do the one at Ohayocon although a regular tournament either t1 or t2 would be great also.
It would be fun to have Risk and Axis&Allies and settlers of catan and many other random board games too...
and definitely Apples To Apples and

ok i know i can bring my apples to apples for the con with no problem
DnD idk what will be done about that but i will see what i can cook up
as far as magic idk about a draft but i know that we can do a type 1 and a type 2 tournament

Simpler and quicker RPGs than D&D.
Same with board games and card games.

It may seem really basic, but I'd personally like to see a Go board there.
I really like the game; it's quite interesting. I have a board myself, and I think it would be cool to see that game there...
Considering that this is an anime con, and Go is an oriental game, etc...

I only know a little bit about it, but just enough to play. More people should know about this game; it's a shame how hard it is to find Go boards anymore, at least in my area.
I want a yugioh tournement XD and I have the Zombie 4 expansion pack D: couldnt find 1-3 sadly

Has the FNM been okayed with what was suggested, Sully-kun?
And, I don't think there will be a sanctioned Pokemon tournament, since that's, I think, Battle Roads weekend.

FNM stands for Friday Night Magic... its the sanctioned tournaments that shops can run for Magic:The Gathering

its basically a for sure thing from what i can under stand XD if the powers that be have anything please correct me and let everybody else know what is going on for sure then also....there might be a few magic players coming up just for FNM, including Chris "BIG BOX" McClung who is #1 is stark county XD
Most of the magic cards I own are real old school. Someone want to refresh me on what type 1 and type 2 are. If I don't have cards in either I'll have to borrow from a friend or play outside a tourney or something.

How do people want to SIGN UP to play games?
Last year we had a sheet letting people sign up on the door, and it was hardly ever used!!!
Would you prefer to have a game & time already predetermined and 4 people are able to sign up for a slot during that time?
The sheet would look like this for example...
This is a mock up, obviously.
We could have signups by day, or by game, or set out for the entire weekend....?
We can obviously have several games running at the same time... A sign up might be easier to help people gauge when others are available, however.
Another option (and we could do both) would be to post a comprehensive list of ALL the games.
Any thoughts, ideas?

Yes, it will be Type 2. And most likely 9PM on, obviously, Friday.
There may be someone in tabletop gaming who can run many types of sanctioned games.
Such as a yugioh tournament.
