Since we only have one giant room this year all tournaments will be held in the game room, to be specific Kalihari has it named the Cypress. So you can check it out on the kalihari floor plan.

Cool! I love tecmo super bowl. Back in the day, that was awesome. My old Nintendo and game copy still work too. I'm gonna practice

. I was hoping for a Marvel vs Capcom 2 Tourney aswell but I'm sure someone will at least bring that game to play for a few rounds. I got a better chance at winning in TSB than MvC2 anyway.

Do we have to sign up to be in the tournaments? If so, when and were do you do it?

Tournament sign-ups will be in the game room on the day of the specific tournament. So if you wanna sign up for Powerstone 2 you can show up any time on Friday before 5 to do so, but if you want to also sign up for Super Smash Brothers Brawl, you'll have to wait till Saturday.
And as far as Shattered Blade goes, we don't mind having it around in the gameroom but the chances of an official tournament are almost 0%, the wii mote is the latest in the not so long line on the de-evolution of the game controller. First there was arcade stick, then we got many different hand held controllers, some good and some bad, and then came the gimmick ridden Nintendo wii and it is the sole reason you'll never see another decent fighter on a Nintendo system again. I'm not saying that its a bad game or that its not fun, just that wii-mote and competitive anything just don't mix, especially when the game forces you to use it.
Yes the will be a Stepmania set-up in the gameroom.

Kinda disappointing that Melee is as late in the day as it is. D:
Wouldn't have been able to go to it anyway if I was staying that long, but oh well. I'll probably be gravitating towards any DDR setups for the whole con, as usual.
